So many different options exist when it comes to footwear for running, but what exactly should you wear?
The first thing to understand about running shoes is that they will not influence the overall rate of injury. Will they in the future Possibly, however the key take-home message is that the running footwear industry is about mass production. So, there is a hypothetical design for literally millions of people that are supposed to work for all.
This simply is NOT possible. The human organism is incredibly varied, and different runners will respond differently to all sorts of things, gender, body weight, surface, terrain, ambient temperature, biomechanics, and… footwear.
